2021 ERC Starting Grant

Our Faculty Member Asst. Prof. Levent Beker from the Mechanical Engineering Department won the ERC Grant, with his project to develop a device that will predict the risk of heart disease. The device called 2ND-CHANCE, which is unique in the world, will detect the symptoms of heart diseases and warn the patient before they reach the critical level. We wholeheartedly congratulate Asst. Prof. Levent Beker for his project, which will be supported with 2.5 million Euros for five years.
