Directed by Erdem Alaca this facility serves micro and nanofabrication needs of faculty and students from various departments as well as external users. Certified as Class 1000 in 2006 the laboratory has provided uninterrupted services since then.

Tlab's mission is to develop point-of-care medical diagnostic and continuous health monitoring devices using the principles of microfluidics, materials science, and microfabrication, and (ii) high-throughput drug testing platforms and organ-on-a-chip platforms using bioprinting, microfludics, novel biomaterials, and immunochemistry.
Our group focuses on next-generation implantable and wearable medical devices enabled by micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) and flexible sensors for health monitoring or diagnostics. These bio-integrated microdevices are able to capture physical, electrical, and chemical changes within the human body. We design transducers, fabricate them using MEMS fabrication techniques or various polymer materials, then conduct in-vitro and in-vivo studies.
